PUBLIC MEETING FOR THE MAYORALTY AND COUNCIL CANDIDATES

MONDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 2025
Great Lake Centre, Story Place, Taupo
Commencing at 7.00PM

Lake Taupo Rotary is hosting a Public Meeting to give members of the public the chance to hear the 4 Mayoral candidates - 1 of whom is also standing with 16 other Councilor candidates for the 7 Taupo Ward vacancies plus 3 candidates vying for the 2 seats vacant in the Te Papamarearea Maori Ward. There will also be 3 Candidates standing for the 1 vacancy in the Taupo-Rotorua Constituency of the Waikato Regional Council. 

The Candidates will have a variety of prepared questions to answer and because of the large number of candidates, time will be tightly managed by Toastmasters.
